Chatham patchwork poem project

In March this year, we welcomed poet laureate Simon Armitage to Chatham library.
His visit was the launch of our patchwork poem project – a collaborative poem inspired by the beauty of Chatham. William Cuffay is name checked in the poem. The supporting picture was taken at the Fuse Festival in 2014 and is a paper mache figurine of William.
