Family Activity at the Royal Engineers Museum: James McCudden and the Royal Flying Corps

During the First World War, the Royal Flying Corps had the important job of defending Britain and its allies in the air. One of the most famous pilots, James McCudden, was awarded a Victoria Cross on 2nd April 1918 for his extreme bravery.

Create a wooden model of a plane just like one that James McCudden would have flown and find out what happened to him during the War.
