What brought you to Chatham?

Join in with creative writing workshops on Thursday 6th July at Chatham and Luton libraries to uncover and share migration stories. We are interested in those that have travelled to Medway, past and present, from near and far, to make this a place that we can all call home.

  • 11.15am-1.15pm, Chatham Library & Community Hub, Dock Rd, Chatham
    ME4 4TX
  • 3.00pm-4.30pm, Luton Library, 2 Nelson Terrace, Luton, Chatham ME5
    7LA

This is part of the History Detectives series that brings together stories inspired by local archives. The work will contribute towards an exhibition at Luton Library as part of Electric Medway festival.

Participants are encouraged to bring an object with them that is meaningful to them and their own heritage. Everyone is welcome and refreshments are provided.
