Medway Culture Club

3rd February | 10:30 am - 1:00 pm

Join Medway Culture Club and award-winning spoken word poet, Rami Yasir, for an enchanting morning of poetry and storytelling at the Medway Culture Club! 🌟

Get ready to immerse your children in the vibrant traditions of spoken word poetry, spotlighting the inspiring works of the late Benjamin Zephaniah.

 Event Highlights:

– Interactive Workshop: Amplifying and encouraging young voices to get creative and express themselves through rhythm & rhyme.

– Building confidence: As a finale, we will invite performances of the children’s work through an expression of their chosen art form.

– Feast on Flavours: Savour a mouth-watering African lunch of Jollof rice with a choice of Chicken or Vegetable stew.

This event promises an unforgettable experience for your children while fostering creative and cultural understanding and appreciation. There are a limited number of spaces available, and they are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, so don’t miss out!
