MESS ROOM Creatives at Rochester Cathedral

22nd April - 24th June

Free
Artists Tina Ryan, Dan Russell, Marissa Mardon and worked in partnership with the Guildhall Museum, Rochester, the Royal Engineers Museum and Rochester Cathedral to create artworks inspired by Medway's cultural heritage.

An exhibition of printed artworks by Medway residents is now on display in the Crypt at Rochester Cathedral, open until 24th June 2024.

Led by artist Tina Ryan the group held printmaking sessions at Rochester Cathedral to explore and take inspiration from the architecture and patterns within the building to create their own collagraph printing plates. These plates were used to make a beautiful collection of gold and white embossed prints.

Thank you for Rochester Cathedral for this wonderful opportunity, Tina Ryan and for all the artists who took part.
