SCANNING AND SINGING DAY

17th August | 9:30 am - 5:00 pm

SCANNING AND SINGING DAY

Would you like your family’s most meaningful treasures preserved digitally forever? Or is there a special song you’d like to share with the local community? Want to have fun with your children, friends and neighbours?

Scanning and Singing is a free event that is taking place on Thursday 17th August. Come along to the Fit and Fed Playscheme at

Luton Primary School 9.30am-2.45pm

Chatham Food Centre 3pm-5pm

to learn how to create a 3D scan of an object that’s important to you and your heritage or to share a song from your place which everyone can sing along to.

Your Luton friends and neighbours want to learn new songs in all the languages heard on our streets!

See the scans and hear the songs in a final exhibition at Luton Library as part of Electric Medway Festival, 27th-29th October 2023.

All ages and everyone welcome. Sign up by emailing sophie@mslprojects.co.uk or just turn up on the day.

Funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund with additional support from Localgiving and Postcode Society Trust.

Thanks to money raised by #NationalLottery players.
